Mr. Carity has been teaching for 12 years. After graduating from Miami University in 2004, with a degree in Secondary Education, he began teaching Biology I and Integrated Science at Princeton High School, in Cincinnati. Following his stint at Princeton, he and his wife moved to Columbus, where Mr. Carity has been teaching Biology I and A.P. Biology for eight years. He attended Tippecanoe High School, in Tipp City where in addition to playing in the HS marching band for five years he was invited to play in the District XI Honor Band. Mr. Carity was section leader, band president, and John Phillip Sousa Award recipient. During high school Mr. Carity began playing in a rock band with some of his classmates. They cut a five song demo disc in 2003 and continue to play when they get the chance. Mr. Carity is a member of NSTA and NABT. He enjoys following DCI and WGI. In addition to music, Mr. Carity enjoys spending time outdoors and playing hockey.
